Dr. Kamperidou Vasiliki is an Assistant Professor in Wood Science, specializing in "Chemical treatments of wood (protection, analytical chemical methods, extracts)". She holds a PhD in "Physico-Chemical and Mechanical properties of thermally modified wood" and she has worked in the context of doctoral and post-doctoral research, as well as in the frame of scientific collaborations, research programs and the provision of services to private/public sector, on the utilization of forest biomass, the production of wood products, chemical analyses, isolation of wood chemical components, preservation and protection of wood and its products, wood chemical products, adhesives, biofuels and energy. She has published over seventy articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and international and national conferences, is a reviewer in over 35 internationally recognized scientific journals and has won several scholarships and awards.
